Director, Yvonne Scully & Associates

Yvonne Scully, MBS (TCD), MBA (TCD) is a Business Consultant, Food Entrepreneur, Business Angel Investor and has a professional background in Finance and Investment Banking.

Yvonne works on consultancy projects in Business Strategy, Market Research, Sales and Marketing and Finance for high potential start-up and exporting Food and Drink, Design, Manufacturing and Consumer Product SMEs.

Yvonne regularly works on Feasibility Studies for start-up and pivoting businesses and on Investor Ready, Export Ready and Multiple Retailer Ready programmes for SMEs.

As an EI and LEO Mentor and consultant, Yvonne assists SMEs in the research and write up of their Business Plans and financial forecasts and in the research, applications and pitches for funding in the form of bank loans, state agency grants and other supports and business angel investors.

Yvonne is on the following panels:

  • Enterprise Ireland Business Growth Advisor on Business Strategy, Sales and Marketing for exporting company clients of Enterprise Ireland. Yvonne sees Business Strategy as being at the centre of Company Growth and Export Development driven by the alignment of all of the other five pillars of a business: People and Management, Sales and Marketing, Operations, Innovation and Finance.
  • Enterprise Ireland’s Strategic Consultancy Panel
  • Active member of the EI mentoring panel for the past 8 years having mentored 36 EI clients to date and regularly participating in EI Investor Pitches preparing EI client companies to pitch for funding to implement their Sales and Marketing and Exporting Plans
  • Programme mentor and trainer on the LEO/Bord Bia/SuperValu Food Academy Programme since its inception in 2014. This programme prepares artisan food and drink and Irish craft producers to supply SuperValu and other Irish retailers. Yvonne runs the Finance Workshops for this programme focusing on fund raising, costing, pricing, financial forecasting and financial management.
  • Export Development Consultant for food and drink, design, craft and consumer product clients of LEO Dublin City, South Dublin and Fingal
  • Mentor and trainer on the Annual Bord Bia Foodservice Programme
  • Mentoring and training panels of several Local Enterprise Offices nationwide including LEO South Dublin, DLR, Dublin City, Fingal, Wicklow, North and West Cork.
